Add your Inleed email address to the Gmail app or Samsung Email, so you can read and send email on your phone.

## Right guide?

## Settings for the app

- **Account type:** IMAP
- **Username:** The full email address
- **Server:** `mail.inleed.com`
- **Incoming server:** Port 993, SSL/TLS
- **Outgoing server:** Port 465, SSL/TLS
- **Outgoing server requires login:** Yes, same as incoming

## How to add your email

### A. The Gmail app

Available on all Android phones.

1. Open the Gmail app and tap your profile picture.

2. Choose **Add another account › Other**.

3. Enter the full email address and tap **Next**.

4. Choose **Personal (IMAP)**, enter the password and tap **Next**.

5. Fill in the incoming and outgoing server from the settings, and choose the security type **SSL/TLS** for both.

The username must be the full email address, for the outgoing server too.

### B. Samsung Email

The Email app on Samsung Galaxy.

1. Open the **Email** app and choose **Other**.

If the app is missing, get Samsung Email from Galaxy Store or Google Play.

Already have an account there? Tap the gear (**Email settings**) and choose **Add account › Other**.

2. Enter your email address and password and tap **Manual setup**.

3. Choose **IMAP account**.

4. Fill in **IMAP server** and **SMTP server** with the port and security type from the settings.

The username must be the full email address, for the SMTP server too.

5. Tap **Sign in**.

## How to know it worked

Your inbox shows in the app.

## If something doesn’t work

### The app warns about the certificate

**Why:** The server is called `mail.inleed.com`, not after your domain.

**What to do:** Enter `mail.inleed.com` as the incoming and outgoing server.

### You can receive but not send

**What to do:** Check the settings for the outgoing server.

### It worked, but now the app can’t reach the server

**Why:** Repeated failed logins have blocked your IP address.

**What to do:** Correct the password on all your devices and whitelist your IP address.

## Good to know

- Choose IMAP, not POP3. Your email then looks the same on your phone, your computer and in webmail.
