# Add your email to iPhone, iPad or Mac

Add your Inleed email address to Mail on iPhone, iPad or Mac, so you can read and send email there.

## Settings for Mail

- **Account type:** IMAP
- **Username:** The full email address
- **Incoming server:** `mail.inleed.com`
- **Outgoing server:** `mail.inleed.com`

## How to add your email

### A. iPhone and iPad

1. Open **Settings › Apps › Mail › Mail Accounts › Add Account**.

2. Enter your email address and tap **Next**.

3. Choose **Add Other Account › Mail Account**.

4. Fill in your name, email address and password.

5. Choose **IMAP** and fill in the servers from the settings.

   Fill in the username and password for the outgoing server too, even if the fields say optional.

### B. Mail on Mac

1. Open Mail and choose **Mail › Add Account › Other Mail Account**.

2. Fill in your name, email address and password.

   If Mail asks, choose **IMAP** and fill in the servers from the settings.

## How to know it worked

Your inbox shows in Mail.

## If something doesn’t work

### You can’t send email

**Why:** The details for the outgoing server are empty.

**What to do:** Fill in the username and password for the outgoing server, even if the fields say optional.

### The account doesn’t work after a wrong setting

**What to do:** Remove the account in Mail and add it again.

- In DirectAdmin you can download a ready-made profile that sets up the account: **E-mail Accounts** › the menu on the address’s row › **Download Apple iOS, iPadOS, Mac Configuration**.
