# Allow or block a sender

Do emails from a sender end up in spam, or do you want to get rid of a sender? Add the address to the spam filter’s allow list or block list.

## Faster: let an AI app do it

If you’ve connected Inleed to an AI app, just write what you want done, for example:

> Allow the sender customer@example.se in my domain’s spam filter

Done. customer@example.se is allowed in the spam filter.

## How to allow or block

1. Log in to [DirectAdmin](https://inleed.com/helpcenter/log-in-to-directadmin) and open **E-mail Manager › SpamAssassin Setup**.

### A. Allow

Emails from the sender end up in spam.

2. Enter the address under **Whitelisted E-mails** and press `Enter`.

A whole domain works too, for example `*@company.com`.

3. Click **Save Configuration**.

### B. Block

You never want email from the sender.

2. Enter the address under **Blacklisted E-mails** and press `Enter`.

Emails from the address are then always tagged as spam.

3. Click **Save Configuration**.

## How to know it worked

New emails from an allowed sender get through. New emails from a blocked sender are tagged as spam.

## Good to know

- You can also block senders under **SPAM Filters** in **E-mail Manager**.
