# How do I cancel a Microsoft 365 licence?

## Answer

Email [support](mailto:support@inleed.se) at least 7 days before renewal and say which licences you want to cancel or reduce. Support asks you to confirm with `Jag bekräftar` and then registers the cancellation.

## Good to know

- Turning something off in [admin.microsoft.com](https://admin.microsoft.com) isn’t enough. Cancellation goes through Inleed.
- If you have the licence yearly, a year that has started must be paid, and you can only reduce the number from the next period.
- Once the licence is cancelled, the content in Outlook and OneDrive is deleted. The tenant and the user remain.
