# Change your account email address

Your account’s email address is the one you log in with and get email from Inleed at. Change it when you want to use a new address.

## Faster: let an AI app do it

If you’ve connected Inleed to an AI app, just write what you want done, for example:

> Change my account email address to new@example.se

The app prepares the change. You approve it in the client area.

## Before you start

- You need access to both the old and the new address. Both must confirm the change.

## How to change it

1. Log in to the [client area](https://login.inleed.net) and click **Settings**.

2. Enter the new address in the email field.

3. Click **Save changes**.

   The change only applies once both addresses have confirmed.

4. Confirm the change in the emails sent to the old and the new address.

   If you can’t find them, check your spam folder.

## How to know it worked

Once both addresses have confirmed, you log in with the new one.

## If something doesn’t work

### The address jumps back to the old one

**Why:** Only one of the addresses has confirmed.

**What to do:** Click the link in both emails. Then log out and back in. If the links don’t work, contact [support](mailto:support@inleed.se).
