# Change the email address for invoices

Invoices and reminders are emailed to the contacts with the type “Invoice email” in your billing profile. Add the new address there when invoices should go to someone else.

## Faster: let an AI app do it

## Before you start

- Have more than one billing profile? Change the address on each one.

## How to change it

1. Log in to the [client area](https://login.inleed.net) and go to **Settings › Billing**. Click **•••** next to the billing address and choose **Edit**.

   The billing profile opens.

2. Open the **Contacts** tab.

   The billing profile’s contacts are shown.

3. Enter the new address and choose **Invoice email** as the contact type.

4. Add the contact.

   Remove the old address if it should stop getting invoices.

## How to know it worked

The next invoice and reminder go to the new address.

## Good to know

- **Invoice email** gets invoices, reminders and payment confirmations. **Receipt email** gets a receipt when an invoice has been paid. **EDI-invoice** only gets new invoices, for accounting systems such as Fortnox or Visma.
- **Technical contact** gets maintenance notices and can ask support for changes, but has no access to the client area.
- Changing the email address you log in with doesn’t change the invoice address.
