# Does Inleed patch PHP security holes?

## Answer

Yes. Inleed updates and patches PHP on the hosting servers. The servers run CloudLinux and are patched every week, so you don’t need to do anything.

## Good to know

- You choose the PHP version yourself in DirectAdmin, and PHP 8.5 is available on all hosting plans. If your website runs a version older than 8.2 you should switch, because PHP 7 is End of Life.
