# Should the domain be in my name or my company’s?

## Answer

If the domain will be used by a company, register it to the company. The details must be correct.

Internetstiftelsen makes spot checks and can suspend .se and .nu domains with incorrect owner details without warning.

## Good to know

- A private person’s .se and .nu domains are hidden in WHOIS. A company’s can’t be hidden.
- The domain can be owned by someone other than the person who pays, for example an agency’s client. Create a billing profile for the owner and order with it. The owner verifies a .se or .nu domain with BankID.
- If the domain is in the wrong owner’s name, it is changed with an ownership transfer.
