# Fibre box lights explained

The lights show whether the fault is in the fibre, in the fibre box or between the box and your router. The boxes look different in different city networks, so check the labels next to the lights.

## What the lights mean

| Light | What it means | What to do |
| --- | --- | --- |
| No lights are on | The power adapter or the box may be faulty. | Check the adapter and the wall socket. Email us a photo of the box if that doesn’t help. |
| Fibre or LOS is red | No signal reaches the fibre box. | Unplug the fibre box’s power for at least 3 minutes. If that doesn’t help, [report a fault](https://inleed.com/helpcenter/report-broadband-fault). |
| WAN is off | No connection out, for example a loose fibre cable, a fault at the network owner or a service that isn’t activated. | Unplug the fibre box’s power for at least 3 minutes. If that doesn’t help, [report a fault](https://inleed.com/helpcenter/report-broadband-fault). |
| The WAN light on the router is off | The cable between the fibre box and the router may be the cause. | Check the cable between the fibre box and the router. |

## Good to know

- Not sure what the lights show? Email [support](mailto:support@inleed.se) a photo of the fibre box.
- Check that the cable is in the right outlet in the apartment. It’s often in a fuse box or behind a metal hatch in the hallway.
