# Find your router’s MAC address

We may need your router’s MAC address when you report a broadband fault. Look at the label on the router first.

## How to find it

1. Look at the label underneath or on the back of the router.

The MAC address has 12 characters and often follows **MAC**, **WAN MAC** or **HW**.

2. If it isn’t there, open the router’s settings page and look for **WAN MAC** under **Status** or **Internet**.

## How to know it worked

You have the router’s MAC address, for example `00:1A:2B:3C:4D:5E`, and can send it to [support](mailto:support@inleed.se).

## Good to know

- Do you have the router from us (Comfast)? The wifi name ends with the last 4 characters of the MAC address, and you reach the settings at `http://192.168.0.1`.
