# FTP and SFTP settings for your hosting

The server, ports and username you enter in FileZilla or another FTP app to reach your hosting’s files.

## FTP and SFTP

- **Server:** The server’s name, for example prime2.inleed.net
- **Port for FTP:** 21, FTP or FTPS
- **Port for SFTP:** 2020, only with the DirectAdmin account
- **Username:** The same as for DirectAdmin, or the FTP account’s full name, for example name@yourdomain.com
- **Password:** The DirectAdmin password, or the FTP account’s own password

## Good to know

- The server’s name is on the SSH row under **Hosting Specifics**, on your hosting’s page in the [client area](https://login.inleed.net). Use it instead of `ftp.yourdomain.com`, which doesn’t work until the domain points to Inleed.
- You create separate FTP accounts in [DirectAdmin](https://inleed.com/helpcenter/log-in-to-directadmin) under **FTP Management**. They only work with FTP, not with SFTP.

- Can’t get in after several attempts? Your IP address may have been blocked.
