# Can I lock my domain against unauthorised transfer?

## Answer

International domains such as .com have a transfer lock turned on from the start. If the domain is to be transferred, you ask [support](mailto:support@inleed.se) to unlock it.

.se and .nu domains have no such lock. Still, nobody can transfer them without the transfer code, and it’s emailed to the domain’s owner.

## Good to know

- Inleed doesn’t offer Registry Lock.
- Keep the email address for the domain’s owner up to date, so the transfer code reaches the right person.
