# Order Remote Hands or a server reboot

With Remote Hands, staff in the data centre do something on your physical server for you, such as a reboot, cabling or a status check.

## Right guide?

- Do you have a VPS? You restart it yourself in the client area.
  [Restart your VPS](https://inleed.com/helpcenter/restart-vps)

## How to order

1. Log in to the [client area](https://login.inleed.net), go to the store and click **One-time services**.

This is where you find services with a fixed one-time fee, such as Remote Hands.

2. Choose Remote Hands and complete the order.

3. Email [support](mailto:support@inleed.se) and describe what needs doing.

For example a physical reboot, cabling, photos or a status check.

## How to know it worked

Remote Hands is ordered and support knows what needs doing.

## If something doesn’t work

### The link or iDRAC keeps going down and up

**Why:** Usually a loose cable, a faulty SFP module or a worn transceiver.

**What to do:** Order Remote Hands and ask support to check the cable and the module.

### iDRAC doesn’t respond, but the server is running

**Why:** iDRAC is separate from the server and can be down while the server runs.

**What to do:** Reach the server by a backup route, such as JetKVM or a redundant link.

## Good to know

- Remote Hands can’t always be done the same day.
