# Can I get back a domain that has expired?

## Answer

Usually. A .se or .nu domain is suspended about 10 days after the expiry date, but you can renew it yourself in the [client area](https://login.inleed.net) until it’s deleted, about 70 days after the expiry date.

Other domains, such as .com, you can renew yourself for a few days after expiry. After that, support can usually restore them for a fee that includes one year’s renewal. Renew as soon as you can. With card or Swish, the domain renews straight away.

## Good to know

- The website and email on the domain stop working when the domain is suspended.
- You can renew the domain in advance, so it doesn’t expire.
