# Restore a website or files with JetBackup

With JetBackup you restore part of your hosting yourself, for example a file, a database or an email account, without touching the rest.

## Faster: let an AI app do it

If you’ve connected Inleed to an AI app, just write what you want done, for example:

> Restore the database for example.se from yesterday’s backup

The app prepares the restore. You approve it in the client area.

## Before you start

- JetBackup is included in Prime and Ultra. Other plans can add it under **Show addons** in the [client area](https://login.inleed.net).

## How to restore

1. Log in to [DirectAdmin](https://inleed.com/helpcenter/log-in-to-directadmin) and open **JetBackup** under **Extra Features**.

2. Choose what to restore: the whole account, files, databases or email.

**Important:** What you restore is replaced with how it was that day. Changes made after that are lost in those files or databases.

3. Choose the date, select what you want back and click **Restore**.

**Tip:** To keep what has been added since then, choose **Merge backup data with live account data**.

## How to know it worked

What you chose is restored from that day. The rest of your hosting isn’t touched.

## Good to know

- If you only need a single file, restore only that file. It’s faster and affects nothing else.
- A backup is taken every day and kept for 30 days on Prime and Ultra.
