# Why is my invoice higher than last time?

## Answer

Usually your hosting has been upgraded automatically by Elastic Scaling, or the invoice covers more services or a longer period than last time.

Elastic Scaling moves your hosting to the next plan when it repeatedly uses more resources than the plan allows. It starts as a trial and you get an email. If you don’t confirm, the plan goes back on its own.

## Good to know

- When you upgrade, the difference for the rest of the period is invoiced.
- Elastic Scaling is turned on and off under **Upgrades** in the [client area](https://login.inleed.net).
