Get started with Microsoft 365
When you buy Microsoft 365 from Inleed, we set up the account. You then create the users, give them licences and add the account to Outlook.
Before you start
- Have your company name, organisation number, contact person, visiting address, phone number and the exact email address ready. We need them to set up the account.
- Old email doesn’t move on its own. The move is included when you buy the licences from us, but it has to be planned before the account is set up.
How to get started
- 1
Log in to the client area, open Store and order licences under Microsoft/SPLA.
We set up the account and point the domain once you have approved it.
Your login arrives in a link that can only be opened once. Save the details before you close the window.
- 2
Log in at admin.microsoft.com with the details from the link.
- 3
Create the users and give each user a licence.
- 4
Point the domain to Microsoft, if we haven’t done it for you.
The steps are in Connect your domain to Microsoft 365.
- 5
Add the account to Outlook as a work or school account.
How to know it worked
Done
Email arrives in Outlook, and users can log in at microsoft365.com .
If something doesn’t work
The licence doesn’t show, or it says it isn’t active yet
Why: The licence activates once Inleed has registered it with Microsoft.
What to do: Wait a while and try again.
My old email didn’t come along
Why: A new Microsoft 365 account doesn’t bring old email with it on its own.
What to do: Email support. Moving old email is included when you buy the licences from us.
Good to know
- Usernames can’t contain å, ä or ö.
- Deleting a user frees up the licence.
