Create a one-time link to share a password
A one-time link shows a password or other text a single time. Use it when you need to send a password to someone, for example support.
How to create the link

Log in to the client area and click your name.
The profile menu opens.

Choose Create one-time link.

Enter the password or text you want to share under Message.

Click Generate link.
- 5
Copy the link and send it to the recipient.
How to know it worked
Done
The recipient opens the link and sees the message once. Then it’s deleted from Inleed’s servers.
Good to know
- If support needs a password, for example the root password for your VPS, send it as a one-time link instead of in plain text.
- Support also sends logins to you as one-time links. Save the details before you close the window, because the link only works once.
