Update your domain’s contact details
The contact details are the name, address, phone and email of whoever owns the domain. Change them when something has changed, for example a new email address or a new contact person.

Is the domain getting a new owner? Change the owner of a domain
Before you start
- The personal identity number and the company registration number can’t be changed here. If the domain is changing owner, that’s done with an ownership transfer.
How to update them
- 1
Log in to the client area and click Manage next to the domain.
The domain’s page opens.
- 2
Open the Contact Information tab.
The owner’s details are shown in a form.
- 3
Change the details that need updating.
- 4
Click Save changes.
How to know it worked
Done
The details are updated at the registry.
Good to know
- Keep the details up to date. Internetstiftelsen makes spot checks and can suspend .se and .nu domains with incorrect owner details without warning.
- If several domains share the same contact, the details change for all of them at once. If they need different contacts, contact support.
- The contact details for a .dk domain aren’t changed through Inleed. You change them yourself in Punktum’s self-service.
