Change your WordPress password

With Installatron you can get into WordPress without a password and then set a new one. It works even if you’ve forgotten the old one.

If you’ve connected Inleed to an AI app, just write what you want done, for example:

How to change it

    Log in to the client area and click your hosting under Websites, email & DNS.

    DirectAdmin opens. No password is needed.

    Open Extra Features in the menu and click Installatron Applications Installer.

  3. 3

    Click My Applications.

  4. 4

    Click login next to the website.

    You’re logged in to WordPress straight away, without a password.

  5. 5

    Go to Users › Profile in WordPress.

  6. 6

    Choose Set New Password.

  7. 7

    Click Update Profile.

How to know it worked

You log in to WordPress with the new password.

If something doesn’t work

The login link in Installatron doesn’t work

Why: A security plugin in WordPress is blocking the login.

What to do: Turn off the plugin by renaming its folder in File Manager.

Disable a WordPress plugin from the File Manager
The website isn’t listed under “My Applications”

Why: WordPress was installed without Installatron.

What to do: Click Lost your password? on the WordPress login page.
