My invoice still shows as unpaid after I paid

You’ve paid, but the invoice still shows as unpaid in the client area. Usually the payment hasn’t been registered yet. Start with the cause at the top, it’s the most common.

Common causes

1You paid by bankgiro recently

Check

Have fewer than 3 bank days passed? A bankgiro payment takes 1–3 bank days to show, and weekends don’t count.

What to do

Wait, you don’t need to do anything. Card and Swish register immediately, so choose one of them next time it’s urgent.

2You used the wrong OCR number

Check

Does the OCR number in your payment match the invoice? Without the right OCR number, the payment isn’t matched to the invoice automatically.

What to do

Email support a proof of payment. Support matches the payment by hand, which takes at least one extra day.

3You paid to Inleed’s old bank account

Check

Did the payment go to an account Inleed no longer uses?

What to do

You don’t need to contact your bank. We match the payment to the invoice on our side.

4The invoice was credited before the payment arrived

Check

Does the invoice show as Credited under Invoices?

What to do

Email support a proof of payment. Support creates a new invoice and matches the payment to it.

Good to know

  • A proof of payment is a screenshot from your bank showing the payee, amount, OCR number and date.
  • Reminders keep going out while a payment is being looked into, and the service can be suspended. Contact support, and support can stop the suspension.
  • Each invoice’s status is shown under Invoices in the client area. Paid means the payment has been registered.
