Common causes
Check
Is a computer, TV or other device plugged directly into the fibre box?
What to do
Connect only the router to the fibre box, from the fibre box’s LAN port to the router’s WAN port. Connect computers, TVs and other devices to the router.
Then unplug the power to the fibre box and the router for at least 3 minutes and start them again.
Check
Has the start date come, and have you approved the order with BankID and paid the first invoice?
What to do
Approve the order and pay the invoice. We only activate once both are done.
If the start date hasn’t come, wait until then, or email support to start earlier.
Find and pay an invoiceCheck
Did you or a previous resident have broadband from another provider?
What to do
There can only be one provider at a time. Cancel the previous provider and email us when it is done.
Check
Are there more outlets or boxes in your home?
What to do
Look for another outlet, often in a cupboard with a metal hatch in the hallway. Feel free to send a photo to support.
Check
Is the apartment number in the order the same as in your tenancy agreement?
What to do
We’ve activated another apartment’s connection. Email support the apartment number in your tenancy agreement.
Check
Does service status show an outage for your postcode?
What to do
During an outage the connection can get stuck at the network owner. It comes back when the network owner has fixed the fault.
Good to know
- Still not working? Email support your address and apartment number, a photo of the fibre box and the outlet, and the MAC addresses of the router and fibre box. Find the MAC address
