Move your broadband to a new address
Your broadband doesn’t move with you on its own. You order at the new address and cancel at the old one, so the switch happens on moving day.
Before you start
- If you live in an apartment, you need the apartment number at the new address.
- In most networks the city network charges a new start fee. The monthly price depends on the network at the new address.
How to move it
- 1
Order broadband for the new address and pick your moving day as the start date.
- 2
Approve the order with BankID in the email you receive.
- 3
Pay the first invoice before moving day.
The broadband isn’t activated until the invoice is paid.
- 4
Cancel the broadband at the old address in the client area and pick your moving day as the end date.
How to know it worked
Done
The broadband is activated at the new address on moving day. Restart the fibre box and the router once it is active.
If something doesn’t work
The internet isn’t working at the new address
Why: The previous resident still has their subscription, or the apartment number doesn’t match.
What to do: Follow the troubleshooting for new broadband.
Internet isn’t working after activationGood to know
- Only one provider can be active per outlet. If the previous resident still has their subscription, it must be cancelled first.
- If we can’t deliver to the new address, you get back what you paid.
- A started period is charged in full. If you pick the subscription’s renewal day as the end date, you avoid a new invoice.
