Find your router’s MAC address
We may need your router’s MAC address when you report a broadband fault. Look at the label on the router first.
How to find it
- 1
Look at the label underneath or on the back of the router.
The MAC address has 12 characters and often follows MAC, WAN MAC or HW.
- 2
If it isn’t there, open the router’s settings page and look for WAN MAC under Status or Internet.
How to know it worked
Done
You have the router’s MAC address, for example 00:1A:2B:3C:4D:5E, and can send it to support.
Good to know
- Do you have the router from us (Comfast)? The wifi name ends with the last 4 characters of the MAC address, and you reach the settings at
http://192.168.0.1.
