Create a Node.js app on your hosting
Node.js apps run on your hosting through DirectAdmin. You choose the version, the folder with the app and the address it answers on.
How to create it

Log in to DirectAdmin and open Setup Node.js App under Extra Features.

Click Create Application.

Choose the Node.js version, the folder with the app, the address it should answer on and the startup file.

Click Create.

Install the app’s dependencies with Run NPM Install, then start the app.
How to know it worked
Done
The app answers on the address you chose.
If something doesn’t work
The app doesn’t respond and can’t be restarted
Why: The server software that runs the app (Passenger) can only be restarted by us.
What to do: Email support and tell us which app and domain it is.
Good to know
- Support helps with the server, not with your app’s code.
