Download a copy of your website
You can make a backup of your hosting yourself in DirectAdmin and save it on your computer, for example before bigger changes or before you cancel your hosting.
How to download a copy

Log in to DirectAdmin and open Create/Restore Backups under Advanced Features.

Choose what to include and click Backup.
You get an email when the backup is ready.

Download the file from the
backupsfolder in File Manager.

You have a copy of your hosting on your own computer.
Good to know
- The backup file takes up space on your hosting. Delete it once you’ve downloaded it.
- Inleed takes a backup every day, but your own copy is good to have before bigger changes.
